This sounds more like a prodigal son parable. A kid (Bergdahl) gone astray ,but saved nonethless by the grace of the father. Its a nice story & has its place, but is it actually workable when our president plays the part of that father? It definitely fits into the scheme of the parable of the prodigal son,but at what cost? Will it have the wrong future impact on our soldiers & their decision-making process?
