ONE THING 2 REMEMBER is that whoever gets elected will only DO a fraction of what they promise. They will only BE a fraction of what they purport to be in the campaign. So if they are FAR RIGHT during campaign time,they will be more toward the middle as president. But if they are moderate in the campaign,chances are they will even bend to the LEFT once they become president. That's what NYT KNOWS & WANTS of course. They are liberal and hope that if the next prez must be republican that they can push him to the left.
