The law enforcement officer caught up to the subject on foot and attempted to apprehend him when the subject began to resist and violently assault the officer. While the subject and law enforcement were in a struggle on the ground, two subjects came out of a nearby apartment and also attacked the law enforcement officer with a snow shovel and broom handle.
As the officer was being ambushed and attacked by the two individuals, the original subject got loose and began striking the officer with a shovel or broom stick.
Fearing for his life and safety as he was being ambushed by three individuals, the officer fired defensive shots to defend his life. The initial subject was hit in the leg.
All three subjects ran back into the apartment and barricaded themselves inside. The attacked officer and subject are both in the hospital..."

ICE agents 🚨 walking danger thru shadowed time,
They bear the law with steady hands & watchful eyes 👀,
When order trembles & the nation sighs,
They serve with little praise, burdens unseen,
Facing rage 😡 loud streets🛣️ & the in between,
When tempers flare & hatred finds a voice,
They hold restraint: faith, duty, & choice
Cover them Lord with armor of light🕯️
Stand close beside them day & night,
Let angels😇 form a wall before each door 🚪
Where threats arise & violence roars
This nation 🇺🇸 Lord a vessel strong yet bound,
Needs measured care to stay sound,
Too many waves🌊 unchecked will strain the frame 🚢
So wisdom matters, not blame
Grant leaders 🗽 sight: firm & fair,
Mercy with law together there,
Paths for the peaceful seeking a place,
Not chaos fear or reckless pace
But those who harm who traffic death,
Who steal the peace & steal the breath,
Remove them Lord by justice true,
So streets may heal & trust renew🕊️
When agents face stones, shouts, lies
The cameras 📸 rage before their eyes,
Remind them Lord ✝️ their work is seen,
Each mile each risk each unseen scene
Return them home 🏠 to rest & grace,
To children arms & familiar face,
Restore their strength: calm their mind,
Leave fear & bitterness behind
We ask not praise for men alone,
But righteous order clearly shown,
